Biography:
Gloria Edith Almonacid (gea*) was born October 9 in Chile. When she turned 8 her family fled the country for political reasons and made their way to grand America. Little gea* arrived on US soil via back of a truck and was never quite the same. Shellshock from the voyage and newfound culture clash, she sought refuge in pencils and paper.

Many years later I'm still seeking asylum in my art. Half the work is a diary in metaphors. My intentions are not to shock, but to release a few bats. I make art mostly for myself and to sing the praises of those who inspire me.

Currently trying to live a stress free life in NY alongside el gato Moo Moo.
